2011 MLB Draft First Round Player Update: Part 1

The minor league season is in full swing and nearly every player that signed has made his professional debut. Some have gotten off to very hot starts while some are still adjusting to professional pitching. I have split this post up in to two parts. My 2012 Top 100 Prospects

I present to you my 2012 top 100 prospect list. I have ranked the players evaluating ceiling, how likely a player reaches that ceiling, risks that come with a player, experience, and all the other stuff along those lines. 2012 Kansas City Royals Top 16 Prospects

The Kansas City Royals saw top prospects Eric Hosmer, Mike Moustakas, Danny Duffy, Salvador Perez, and Johnny Giavotella all graduate out of prospect status and into Big Leaguers in 2011.

To most teams, that would have been a huge blow to their farm system. But it wasn’t to the Royals. Sure, it took a hit on a top 3 farm system but the team has had success with international signings and recent drafts that have kept their system from falling when it graduates that many solid prospects.
