The best post by far is this one: http://www.platoonadvantage.com/2011/11/new-cba.html But I do appreciate all these links, Mike.
Agree! Keith Law’s post (Insider Only) was also very good.
I checked out the Platoon Advantage for links but I must have looked over it or maybe it wasnt up yet but thanks for sharing that Link! He did a fantastic job! Is there anything that you guys love on the new CBA or any big concerns?
Not a fan of the draft cap. Hurts smaller market teams like TB, KC, and PIT and the amatuer players are not part of the union and had no say over this.
I also don’t like the extra wild card as a baseball fan but like it as a Rays fan. Really wish they would allow trading of picks, and it could happen once the paperwork is complete.
It’s about time that MLB made improvements with instant replay, blood testing and the amateur draft. Check out the rest of my thoughts here: http://foultalk.wordpress.com/
Yeah i am not a fan of the draft cap either. I do like the change of the signing deadline though a lot. I cant remember where i read an article but it talked about how the extra wild cards will affect the trade deadline. It might have been fangraphs but it talked about how there will be more buyers and less sellers
